Although Leeds Autism Services receive local authority funding to deliver direct support to individuals, we rely on charitable donations to ensure our services are well resourced with up-to-date equipment such as IT equipment to assist aid communication and help develop social understanding, sensory equipment to help people to manage their sensory differences, vehicles to ensure people can access community-based activities when they are unable to use public transport, equipment to develop life-skills such as cooking and domestic tasks, musical equipment, arts and crafts material or gardening equipment.
Your donations also help to ensure we are able to reach out to more people, promote understanding and acceptance through holding events providing training and education about autism.
_With your help, we can make a real difference to people’s lives and achieve our goal of creating an autism-friendly society throughout West Yorkshire. Are you taking on any events that you might like to be sponsored for? if so you can now download our new sponsor form and help with raising money for us. _

Donations are handled through Virgin Money Giving.
Here is how your money can help to make a big difference to the adults we support:
£10 will pay for an activity such as a game of bowling and a drink or entry to the cinema.
£20 will help pay towards supporting one of our adults to go out into the community and purchase ingredients to learn new skills by cooking a meal for themselves.
£50 will help fund a day trip out of Leeds to York / Manchester or other nearby places accessing public transport.
£100 will enable us to provide new sensory equipment for the adults we support.
£500 will assist us to purchase new IT equipment.
Some examples of how donations have been spent include purchasing sensory equipment and two giant ball pools for our sensory rooms, two refurbished life skills kitchens, a 7-seater vehicle to get people to activities further afield, and new IT equipment to help facilitate communication and develop new skills.
Without your help we wouldn’t be able to provide any of this, your donations make a huge impact to the people we support. Thank you!Donate Here
