LAS Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Join Leeds Autism Services on our sponsored walk as we climb Yorkshire’s mighty 3 Peaks!! Take on Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent all in under 12 hours.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge is a hike of approx. 24.5 miles covering over 1,700m of ascents, in the beautiful scenic surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales. Encircling the head of the Valley of River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, these 3 tallest peaks make up part of the stunning Pennine Range.

As part of a group, this hike is perfect for anyone looking to take on a new challenge and make friends, whilst raising vital funds for Leeds Autism Services. So lace up those hiking boots and lets do amazing things together!

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Route

We will be starting our walk in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, and making our way in the traditional counter clockwise direction round the circular route of the 3 peaks. The first and smallest peak to ascend is Pen-y-Ghent, standing at 694m followed by Whernside (736m), and finally Ingleborough (723m) .

Leeds Autism Services work tirelessly to help make Yorkshire an autism friendly society, by promoting understanding and acceptance of people on the autistic spectrum. With your generosity and kind support, we believe we can achieve real change in the experiences of people on the spectrum.

The money you raise will be used to enhance activities for our service users which aim to develop their academic skills, physical and mental well being as well as making sure the activities we provide meet their sensory needs, and promote community inclusion and increased social opportunity. In no way will fundraised money go towards funding salary/running costs of the charity.

  • £1 donation to Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to maintain tracks and paths
